I have finally come to the realization of how incredibly blessed I am, particularly when it comes to my family. As some people know there is no one that I would rather spend my time with than my family. Throughout my childhood and entering into my adult years I have been so blessed with the opportunity to create many memories with my family, from vacations to just being together at home. Since i've moved back from Utah, there has not been an exception to this. I've been able to go to the Phoenix Zoo, Coon Bluff, California and many more places with them. I am so thankful for the memories we've created and continue to create and the friendships that we have, we are truly better together.
My dear sister Jessica recently told me about the cutest blog on the net that is full of photography & handmade goodies (Two of my favorite things)! Browsing through this blog has inspired me to learn how to sew. I have already accepted that it will be a complete disaster at first, but hopefully with a lot of practice i will be able to whip something out that is a fraction as cute as the things that come out of grosgrain! The latest giveaway on this blog is a precious shirt dress that I have been drooling over all day. Her vision in making this was for a single girl in her 20's who spends her sunday evenings in a laundry mat and lives in San Francisco. I meet the first two criteria so I think that's doing pretty well! Check out the blog and I guarantee you will fall head over heels in love with the creativity of the photography and the brilliance of the things she sews!
We met in 1998 and were married December 19, 2009.
I once asked E.B. what he thought about the time we have known each other and the following was conducted:
"Not one person can really understand what a girl can do to the heart of a man. Jaclyn took mine, broke it, mended it, and then threw it out to the swine and cactus. Then, she took me in like a good Samaritan, all for the benefit of my own well being. Since the beginning, I wondered if she even noticed me. I would walk by her house on a daily basis and whistle the tune of her favorite hymn as to catch her attention - it never worked. A few years later she married me out of pity.
